About the Licensure Summit
ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) and CLARB (Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards) are partnering to bring Chapter and Licensure Board members together for a half-day virtual Licensure Summit focused on building strong, effective, and appropriate relationships. As we navigate licensure reform efforts and begin to plan strategies for implementing the Unform Licensure Standard for Landscape Architecture (Uniform Standard), ensuring successful Board/Chapter relationships has never been more important and necessary.
The Uniform Licensure Standard for Landscape Architecture represents the culmination of more than five years of discussion, research, analysis, and feedback to create the best approach for achieving defensible, consistent, and equitable licensure requirements. ASLA and CLARB believe that by adopting the Uniform Standard, we can improve the landscape architecture mobility model, provide for increased equity in and access to licensure, improve the defensibility of landscape architecture licensure requirements, and ensure the continued protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public and the environment.
Who Should Attend
Each Board and Chapter is invited to register three (3) participants for the Joint Licensure Summit. From Boards, we suggest the Board Executive, Board Chair, and an additional Board member. From Chapters, we suggest the Chapter President (or past or incoming), Advocacy Chair, and Trustee. Click here to register.
