ArchVision 2015

On September 21, 2015, the St. Louis Chapter ASLA in cooperation with the National Park Service and CityArchRiver held the ArchVision Event to educate local leaders about the landscape architect lead Arch revitalization project.

St. Louis ASLA Chapter President Scott Emmelkamp led the event with informative introductions and lively tours of the in-progress construction site. Gullivar Shepard of Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates was keynote speaker. St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and ASLA National President-Elect Chad Danos rounded out the speaking events.

The ArchVision event was a unique, once-in-a lifetime event to showcase the unique qualifications of the landscape architecture profession and emphasize the skills needed to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
